Post-Run Recovery Calculator — Recovery Nutrition
Calculate your post-run protein and carbohydrate recovery needs.
How We Calculate This
Post-Run Recovery Nutrition
After running, your body needs carbohydrates to replenish glycogen and protein to repair muscle damage:
Carbs: 1.0-1.2 g/kg body weight
Protein: 0.25-0.4 g/kg body weight
Fluid replacement should be 1.5 times the estimated sweat loss to account for ongoing losses after exercise.
