How We Calculate This
Lap Time Calculation
The calculator divides the goal time evenly across the required number of laps:
Total Laps = Race Distance / Track Length
Time per Lap = Goal Time / Total Laps
Cumulative split times show your expected time at each lap mark. For distances that do not start on the finish line (e.g., 1500m on a 400m track), the first split covers the partial opening lap.
